100 pages filled with Caribbean architecture, tropical images, and beautiful stories—this is: 25 years of impactful architecture. In this new publication you will read about some of the projects that we’ve worked on.

The book is about our firm’s contemporary Caribbean architecture. It was important for us to capture what that architectural style looks like. There aren’t many publications on contemporary architecture in the (Dutch) Caribbean. That prompted us to document it further, both in film and in print.

What’s it about?

The project selection stems from the stories we shared online in 2024, as part of our anniversary celebration. Based on this, we decided to compile these, plus a number of illustrative projects, into a single publication. This resulted in a book with 20+ projects, divided into five categories: Public Buildings & Spaces, Lodging & Residential, Urban Design, Healthcare, and Learning Facilities. Each category includes several projects, showcasing the diversity of projects from the past 25 years.

The anniversary of celebrating 25 years of my own firm was very special. It has been quite a journey… One that took me through three migrations: the first on my own, and the next two with my family. Creating the work presented in this book has undoubtedly taken a toll on them. Their unwavering support has been essential to my growth as an architect, and for that, I am deeply grateful. Besides my family, this work was made possible by the endless amount of colleagues, collaborators, advisors—and last but certainly not least, the construction workers. My gratitude to all of you is endless! I look forward to the next 25 years.”
