New intership opportunities starting this September. We are mainly looking for students with a background in architecture, but if you come from another creative or technical field, we would still love to hear from you. Feel free to send us an application.
From September onwards, we have new internship spots available within our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on projects from the early sketch phase all the way through to the final design. You will work closely with the team, gain hands-on experience, and further develop your skills throughout the internship.
As one of our former interns shared while reflecting on her experience: “I was a beginner with Revit and Enscape when I started to work here. But by the time I was working on my second project, I was already able to make sketches and eventually work it out to a final design. It was interesting to do a project from start to finish. Working with the team, learning from them and getting along with everyone was for sure a big plus of my internship.”
Teamwork
Interns are considered a full part of our team. They actively contribute to projects while working closely with senior architects and urban designers, giving them the opportunity to learn as much as possible about the profession in practice. As you can also see in the Q&A with our current two interns, we highly value collaboration, mentorship, and personal development during the internship experience.
The internship position is based in our Amsterdam office, where we mainly focus on the design development of our projects. Throughout the year, we regularly receive many internship applications and open requests to join the team. To better structure the application process, we are now officially opening new internship positions for September. If you are looking for an internship starting in September, you can apply by sending your motivation letter together with your CV or portfolio to info@lyongo.com or via our contact form. We are looking for candidates with a background in (urban) design and a strong interest in creating social impact through design. Basic knowledge of designing software is a plus, even at a very limited level – but more importantly we value the motivation to learn it during the internship.
