On July 9, Lyongo Juliana will give a lecture as part of the Global Mentorship Program organized by the American Institute of Architects International. This international initiative brings together leading voices from the field of architecture to share insights to inspire emerging professionals.
This week they announced their calendar for the program of 2025. The inspiring program is filled with a lecture each month as you can see in the image below, starting in the end of April.
About the lecture
In his talk, “Spatial Answers to Social Questions,” Lyongo will explore how architecture can be used to address social challenges. He will discuss how the built environment can contribute to improving living conditions and strengthening human connection. Drawing from his professional experience and personal vision, he highlights the role of an architect to make a positive social impact.
About the program
The AIA pairs students, recent graduates and those pursuing license with seasoned architects for a collaborative exchange. They organize a 9-month program, hosting large group meetings all over the world focused on professional development topics while making positive connections across continents.
